Karumi crouched be hind a stack of crates in the ship yard. she had to leave. it wouln not be long before the soldiers found that she had escaped from prison and she was not exactly hard to miss. Her face was smudged with dirt and her clothes were in tatters. she looked like what she was, a slave to the government. she was trapped in a prison and taunted and tortured. Because of her father. He refused to pay taxes to the king, so the british soldiers executed him and placed Karumi in captivity. Using her for what ever they deemed worthy.
